The pet photography by Jeff Ross is some of the most creative and whimsical pet portraits I have ever seen. He poses Chinese Shar peis in a dermatologist's office, a group of Chihuahuas playing macarenas, and costumed pups trick or treating. Read on for a sampling of some of the most original pet photography I guarantee you have ever seen. Just imagine what he could do if a horse owner hired him!
Photographer Biography
Jeff Ross has been an award winning commercial photographer since 1984 in California and Nevada, and he’s been photographing pets since 2005. His images have been exhibited the Nevada Museum of Art, the Sierra Arts Gallery, the Reno Tahoe International Airport and two juried shows in San Francisco for the Advertising Photographers of America. Jeff teaches photography for the Nevada Museum of Art and will be teaching a photo workshop titled The Face of The West, leading students on a mission to capture the personality of ranchers, farmers and cowboys in Northern Nevada. There have been sheep, frogs, turtles, snakes, monitor lizards, horses, dogs and cats in his studio over the years. He loves working with pets large and small, and has produced a series of pet calendars for the American Pet Products Association and the Nevada Humane Society.
